Hello NMRC Members!
The ice has melted on South Lake Leelanau & it’s time to get ready to row!
Please read on for important information about upcoming events.
We cannot wait to catch up with everyone and get on the water!
A Season of Gratitude
As the season shifts, so do the roles that help our organization grow. After 4 years at the helm of NMRC, Mindy Hawley is stepping down as Board President.
We are deeply grateful for her dedication, tenacity, and passion for NMRC Rowing, which have strengthened our mission and community. While we say farewell to Mindy in this role, we look forward to seeing more of her out on the water this season and continuing as the Lake Leelanau Site Coordinator.
Thank you, Mindy, for everything—you’ve truly made a lasting impact!
Join us for the Spring Social!
We look forward to seeing members at our Spring Social on Friday, May 8th at 6pm at the Sleeping Bear Bay Club in Maple City.
The board will have an update on the upcoming seasons and answer any questions you have. There will be ergs and an erg demonstration for new rowers as well.
Please bring a light dish to pass. Beverages are available at Broomstack’s Bar. (please no BYOB)
We can’t wait to see you at our winter rowing home!!

Supporting Our Club is Always in Season!
We are a volunteer, member run 501c3 and depend on donations to sustain our club. Membership fees go toward overhead costs and staff (coaches/coxswains). All equipment repair and upgrades are supported by the generous donations of our community.
NMRC is now registered to receive donations via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) from Fidelity Charitable. So if you have investments with Fidelity, it is easier and more secure to make donations to NMRC!
