Free Roylerow Coaching Resources for All Members —Through May 15th!
The NMRC Board is thrilled to offer all club members complimentary access to Roylerow, a masters rowing training program developed by renowned coach Marlene Royle. Grounded in exercise science, Roylerow provides structured, progressive programming adaptable to all fitness levels and goals — whether you row recreationally or competitively — and is applicable to erg, on-the-water, and cross-training activities like biking, hiking, and snowshoeing. This opportunity came about after a group of NMRC members trialed Marlene's programming over the winter, incorporating her workouts into our regular erg sessions. The results spoke for themselves: the program delivers real benefits for all rowers, not just those training to race. The club is now financing access to Roylerow and making it available to every member at no cost through May 15th — so take advantage of this incredible resource while you can! Contact marti@northernmichiganrowing.club or any board member if you have any questions.
Supporting Our Club is Always in Season!
We are a volunteer, member run 501c3 and depend on donations to sustain our club. Membership fees go toward overhead costs and staff (coaches/coxswains). All equipment repair and upgrades are supported by the generous donations of our community.
NMRC is now registered to receive donations via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) from Fidelity Charitable. So if you have investments with Fidelity, it is easier and more secure to make donations to NMRC!
